Sure it is a place you can grab a few achievements away from the AI, like pulling wheelies and stoppies without having to worry about collisions and losing a race, but the incentive just isn't there.

A series of tracks, and open sandbox areas to race about in and throwing stunts in mid air, but very little else to entice you into actually staying in there.
Moving on from the MP component, we have Single player option to venture into. Ooops, that does not cut it well with the Beaver here. I know my internet isn't that great, even with Fibre, but I can still get connections on other games. Several times I attempted to play with a friend, and we just couldn't get a game going. But what else do you get for your money? Online MP sadly doesn't cut it. Fair play to Nordic Games, I for one am impressed, as releases in recent years have been more than that. Considering it has been given a price tag of just £23.99, that is actually not a bad deal. The Career mode has enough events for you to participate in, with both MX bikes and ATV quads, giving you a generous amount of value for money there. MX vs ATV does have some issues that could have been rectified before release sure, but I found my experience an interesting one to say the least. The graphics were bad looking back,and I guess the point I am attempting to convey, is that for me, graphics don't affect my ability to enjoy a game. On the flip side of the coin, if you are like me, and not too far away form 40 years old, then you will remember a time of the Commodore 64 or ZX Spectrum, and the amazing HD graphics they.sorry, I can't even make a joke about that. If you are one of these gamers that must have 60fps, an the most insane graphics known to man, then you may not be interested, or impressed if you do play it. Sure it is a little rough around the edges, and could do with some extra polish, but does i have that cheeky charm to keep you playing it, or at least enjoy what time you spend playing it? That question goes to the individual that you are. It is not the perfect game by any means, but at the same time, I don't think it is all that bad either. The latest tech in a home console, surely it is going to look absolutely amazing and play like a dream, right? Well, that's where the problem lies. So, how has the series fared with it's latest release, this time on Xbox One. I had looked at some game play footage, and gotten quite excited at the prospect of giving it some welly on dirt bikes and ATV's.

So imagine my excitement when I received a code via email. As much as I like racing games, I go through phases of playing them until my fingers bleed, and then focusing on say, RPG's for a while. Saying that, I have never really given the series much in the way of attention, aside from playing a 360 release some time ago.
